Hi Everybody.. Please check out the upcoming 1st Annual Los Angeles Flamenco Festival that’s going to take place at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center on March 19-21. This event is the first festival put together for LA flamenco community by LA flamenco community. Like NY, Chicago, Washington, other major cities have flamenco festival organized by community. Here is our first one!

And we need your support.

It’s going to be a great event with spectacular flamenco artists from the LA area as well as the U.S. I’m very excited to participate at closing night of this event.

Please come and bring your friends and families. Hope to see you there!

Thank you

Jose Tanaka

José Tanaka & Soniquete Flamenco

Jose Tanaka, Jesus Montoya, Mizuho Sato

“José Tanaka escalated the moods of several soloists with his aggressive, percussive guitar, which carried them along like a fast-moving stream. In his own solo work, Tanaka proved he must have the fastest right hand in the west.”

The Los Angeles Times

Adam del Montee

“A man whose binding virtuosity coupled with an agile and creative improvisatory  sensibility electrifies audiences wherever he performs.

“La Tania’s combination of restraint and release are capable of unleashing the extraordinary…clean, furious, incessant…

Happy New Year!

In Japan, new year is the biggest holiday and most of businesses and stores are closed for 3 days.
All the families and relatives gather and enjoy traditional new year food.
Most Japanese people also make new year resolution. (I think new year resolution is same as here in US. )

Anyway, I have about 5 new year resolutions this year. Of-course most of them are related to the guitar and music except going to Gym.

Did you guys make a new year resolution?
I hope it’s related to the guitar.
